Using Time Lapse Photography

One of my favorite blogs is Hiking in Finland, which is about ultralight hiking in the Nordic countries.  What I particularly like about the site is the way they use photography to tell their stories.  For example here is a fantastic time lapse video of a mountain camping scene.  Check it out:

Today's Meeting

It was great meeting with everyone this morning.  The only additional thing I think we should do is provide our non-ccsd emails in case the system goes down this summer.  Be sure to put it in your address book.  In addition this blog is on google, not ccsd, so in case the wiki site goes down, we can use this blog.  It will also keep a record of our activity.  Mike

National Common Core Standards

The Federal Government has just adopted new national common core state standards.  As we prepare our lesson plans for the 24-12 project, I suggest we refer to these standards.
